And finally…the big question why do persian cats do have flat faces, doll faces & flat noses?

…I googled the questions and I found out some real cool stuff…
…not exactly what I had in mind, but here are the facts…
Not all Persian cats do have flat faces – the traditional, or doll-faced Persian, actually has a muzzle. In the late-Fifties, some cat fanciers decided a spontaneous mutation was a desirable trait, and began breeding Persians to have shorter and shorter muzzles until
they had high noses and flat faces. This ultra-typed Persian cat became the breed standard according to the Cat Fanciers’ Association. At its most extreme, a Persian cat with these
features runs the risk of having deformed tear ducts and perpetually runny eyes, so some are calling for a return to the traditional breed.

Nice quiet day today cauze my Tuesday is all about Valentine’s Day prep like doing fun stuff with hearts, chocolate & big red balls (my favorite Chocolates are the Italian one’s called Cunesi and they are
filled with Amaretto chocolat mmmmmmhhhh!) like you can see on the footage of this video! I highly recommend those Chocolates for Valentine’s Day cause they make a great gift for all your loved ones! I will fill my chocolates in a cute personalized cat mug that I will offer my mom (to show my love & gratitude in a truly unique special & personal way) and I will share my V-Day chocolate gift mug later this week so stay tuned…
and of course my V Day preparation also includes watching the Oscar trailers on YT…and sipping some hot cocoa on the couch with mom…
my Oscar pick of today is the Lion picture nominee just because I feel connected being a cat myself…
ahhh and yes the lion cut persian cat wig is on my wish list and it is kind of a second reason why I picked this film as one of my favorites!
